Welcome to English 3341: Studies in Writing, Rhetoric, and Pedagogy!
ReplyDeleteHello everyone!
This blogspot is a safe space for us to share our thoughts about the course reading assignments as we grapple with rhetorical theory and writing pedagogy.
Feel free to post any insights, comments, questions, or reactions you may have about the text before the due date and reply to one of your classmate's posts NO later than two (2) days after the due date to extend the conversation outside the classroom (please refer to the Theory Blog Entries handout for more details about this assignment).
Aside from whole class discussion, certain posts may morph into possible topics for your writing projects so keep an open mind as we examine connections between rhetoric and writing pedagogies.
We hope to advance further inquiries in compositional theory by digesting selected rhetorical and theoretical works from classical to contemporary.
Happy reading, writing, and sharing in class! =))

I love the different insights that we all had in our blogs. We each got something different out of the same text. Very cool! I have a hard time not replying to each student and wanting to continue the discussion!
ReplyDeleteThat's great! Keep it up, Rachel. =))
